Via Ferrata Roca Creu Ribes Freser
The via ferrata of the Roca de la Creu is located in the town of Ribes de Freser, Girona (75 minutes from Barcelona and 80 minutes from Girona).
A simple via ferrata, very grateful, ideal as a first contact with the via ferratas and with spectacular views of the entire Ribes Valley. From the Cruz de la Roca de la Creu we have superb and beautiful views of the Girones Pyrenees and PrePrineo.
The route is made up of the Roca de la Creu via ferrata and the Castell de Segura path. The difficulty of the via ferrata is considered in the first part, a bit more technical and vertical, just before reaching the cross that crowns the peak of the rock of la creu. From this point on, the difficulty decreases, but we will continue to enjoy the route and the fabulous views.
Via ferrata fully recommended to get started in the world of Via ferratas.
We carry out the activity with small groups, 1 qualified guide will carry 6, maximum 8 clients.

SEASON: This activity takes place all year long.
DIFFICULTY: Beginner – K2 (we use the Husler scale to measure difficulty, where K1 is the easiest and K6 the hardest)
ADVENTURERS: From 12 years of age up; minors have to be under the supervision of an adult.

PARKING: At the meeting point of the activity.
DURATION: 4 hours from when we meet until we say goodbye (presentation of the activity and delivery of material 30 minutes, access 15 minutes, activity 2 hours, return 30 minutes).
EQUIPMENT: Backpack, water and something to eat to regain strength. Comfortable, resistant footwear with a hard sole, ideal low-cut mountain boot. Comfortable clothes according to the time of year. Cycling gloves (not necessary, but advisable)

What is included in the price: All the necessary material to carry out the activity (helmet, harness, set via ferrata, safety group material with two different measures depending on our needs. This safety group material is attached to the harness with a jersey and has two carabiners to anchor / rest when we deem appropriate.), titled guide, photographic report and civil liability and accident insurance.
